WHY BE DOH COMPLIANT IN THE FIRST PLACE?
Besides the extensive health benefits of solely consuming products that meet DOH standards, Washington State legislature passed HB 1453 on March 14th, 2024, granting an exemption to the 37% cannabis excise tax on all DOH compliant products for qualifying medical patients. This law officially went into effect on June 6th, 2024, and will continue to remain in effect until it is revisited in 2029.
SO, WHAT MAKES A PRODUCT DOH CERTIFIED?
DOH Certification for cannabis in WA State ensures compliance with rigorous health and safety standards. Products must have no more than the alotted amount of prohibited pesticides, mycotoxins, or heavy metals.
We don’t just meet the DOH standards, we go above and beyond. ALL of our products contain ZERO traces of pesticides, mycotoxins, or heavy metals. And they never will! We exceed the DOH testing requirements while others companies may be satisfied with meeting the bare minumum requirements. Not us!
