Why Add Terpenes & Herbs?
Terpenes are powerful compounds found in cannabis and are what gives cannabis it’s sativa or indica effect along with differentiating one strain from another. Alongside cannabinoid potency, aroma & flavor, terpenes play a key role in the amazing effect & support cannabis provides. This synergy is known as the entourage effect.
Why Avocado Oil?
We have transitioned to avocado oil from coconut oil for even further improved health benefits and higher bioavailability. With a soft, smooth & non-oily feeling, avocado oil provides a clean, natural & rich experience. This formula redefines the tincture standard, raising the bar to new heights of unrivaled quality and effectiveness you expect from Fairwinds.
What type of herb extracts are used?
Our potent herbal extracts are standardized to contain consistent quantities of compounds which have been identified as the most active components. When choosing herbal extracts we reference clinical studies to determine what type of extract provides the most benefit. And all of our extracts are tested for heavy metals and pesticides.
Boswellia – Also known as frankincense. This extract is not the essential oil but the resin, which contains boswellic acids, the main anti-inflammatory component of Boswellia. Our extract is 85% boswellic acids, and 30% AKBA (the most beneficial boswellic acid). More info…

While we are learning a great deal about cannabis and our body’s natural Endocannabinoid System (ECS) on a daily basis, there are many variables to consider when searching for a standardized effect. To measure out each serving with ease, please use the graduated lines on your dropper alongside the serving size guidelines found on the right side panel of every tincture box. While this strategy will allow you to find a consistent serving size and the contents that make up each serving, every user will have a unique experience based on their individual cannabinoid system. To find your balance with cannabis, start with a half or full serving based on past cannabis experience (if any) and continue to administer more as necessary for your personal needs.
We look forward to the day where the laws that govern our industry and patient’s rights are opened to freely discuss instructions on use of products and the benefits and uses of cannabis. Until that day, Fairwinds will remain an active player in legislative action groups committed to fighting for increased patient’s rights and open access to cannabis for all.
